Integral leaf blisters scattered around the lamina of leaves of Quercus john-tuckeri, protruding above and flat below, with many emergence holes on the lower side and a few on the upper side by July 2 near LA. Neuroterus saltatorius sexgen galls are broadly similar but the agamic gall is not known from this host and the galls differ enough to be uncertain. They more closely resemble Neuroterus bussae, another sexgen gall known from live oaks rather than a white oak.
