Gall (Figs. 170-171): On pecan, Apocarya section; a bubble-like swelling of mid- vein or petiole, usually showing on both sides of leaflet, about 1 cm long, 3 mm high; green, smooth; wall of uniform thickness, larval chamber of same shape as gall, containing one to several larvae.

Biological notes. — This species was found by Manya B. Stoetzel in the course of her field work on Phylloxera on pecan. Nothing further is definitely known of the biology of this species, but the full-grown larvae probably escape the galls to drop to the soil.
